Compare the Clinton Foundation to the Trump Foundation.
The Clinton Foundation has led the fight against AIDS, enabling 9 million people to get lower-cost HIV/AIDS medication. And helped women and young girls in several developing countries have better access to healthcare, increasing their lifespans from an average of 69 years in 1995 to 73 years in 2012.
The Trump Foundation paid $20,000 for a six-foot-tall portrait of Trump, used $258,000 to pay off legal settlements that involved Trump’s for-profit businesses, spent $12,000 to buy a football helmet signed by then-Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow, and paid $10,000 for another portrait Trump in 2014.
But, hey, they’re both foundations, so they must be equivalent, right?
What do you think?
