今天(12月5日)是國際志工日，讓我們利用這一天慶祝志工服務為世界帶來的力量與潛能，並向志工及服務團體致上崇高的敬意，感謝他們的付出，讓世界成為更美好的地方。台灣社會充滿活力，每天都有數以千計的志工透過網路或親臨現場，奉獻自己的精神與技能來幫助他人。美國在台協會也常與不同的公民團體合作，投入服務活動，比如說，我們連續三年參加淨灘活動、在台南舉行志工服務青年營等。今天，讓我們一起為志工鼓掌！ #GlobalApplause
Today is International Volunteer Day. Today we not only celebrate the power and potential of volunteerism but also pay special tribute to volunteers and volunteer organizations for their efforts in making the world a better place. Taiwan is a vibrant society where thousands of people are volunteering, online or on-site every day, contributing their energy and skills to others. AIT has partnered with Taiwan NGOs for volunteer activities. For example, AIT has joined a beach cleanup for three years in a row, and AIT also held a youth camp focusing on volunteerism in Tainan. Today, let’s give volunteers a round of applause!
