支援反修例運動被捕者的「612 人道支援基金」表示，指因負責資金託管人「真普聯」將結束運作，612 已制定方案，達至「有秩序地停止運作」。基金信託人陳日君、吳靄儀、何韻詩、許寶強見記者公佈有關安排。吳靄儀指出，在變幻不可測的政治環境中，常懷警惕，可能會有一天基金被迫停止運作，形容「現在到來了。」

吳靄儀指出，612 基金過去一直使用真普聯銀行戶口，得到真普聯的仗義幫助，最近真普聯通知會短期內停止運作，因此基金會沒有銀行戶口使用，因此也要停運；基金已與真普聯就停止運作步驟、日程，取得默契，即日起停收新個案、新申請，會在 9 月公布最終籌款目標…
